Culturactiva is a cooperative that distributes and produces music, theatre, and circus since 2000. With more than 25 years of work and commitment, we see culture as a driving force for change, a tool for transformation to improve the society we live in, through the design of cultural projects, production services, image, communication, and booking.

Each year, we carry out around 1,000 performances of music, comedy theatre, and circus (at festivals, in streets and squares, auditoriums, etc.), as well as a variety of projects such as Festiclown, Festigual, MUMi, Mover os Marcos, and others. We are founders of Pallasos en Rebeldía, an international artistic network that promotes solidarity, culture, and laughter as tools for social transformation, with projects such as Festiclown Palestine in the occupied territories of the West Bank, artistic caravans, productions, and workshops around the world.

Culturactiva designs cultural programmes for all tastes and budgets with great versatility, and works with a wide range of high-quality Galician artists such as Mercedes Peón, Xurxo Fernandes, A Orquestra Bravú Xangai, O Sonoro Maxín, among others. It also represents and distributes other national and international artists in Galicia, such as Cristina Branco (Portugal), Queralt Lahoz (Catalonia), Ana Tijoux (Chile), and Amparanoia (Madrid), among others.
