MARTELO is Xacobe Martínez Antelo's Power Rock Trio, who along with Manuel Cebrián on the guitar and Max Gómez on the drums, provides a dose of energy to the current national Rock scene. Original and combative songs with powerful, acid and scathing lyrics in the Galician language. The few who have listened to MARTELO point to Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against the Machine, Os Resentidos, Urban Dance Squad, Def Con Dos, Red Hot Chili Peppers or Rollins Band as their main influences. To dissipate any doubts, there is nothing like going to see them live...As a novelty, and to bring their lyrics to a much wider audience, they include a sign language interpreter in their concerts.
