Luís Peixoto, a Portuguese settled in Galicia, and the Galician Fernando Barroso reunite to create this new record project called "Pop"."Pop" is the first album that Fernando Barroso and Luís Peixoto do together as a duo. This innovative project moves away from the strictly traditional and delves more into instrumental music in different styles. Various instruments and rhythms make up the 16 tracks of this new album that includes influences from the ancient troubadours and music of the 80's or current music.The care with which it was done as well as the multiple instruments that both musicians play: Irish bouzouki; guitar from Coimbra; viola from Braga; bandolim; cavaquinho; tenor banjo; acoustic, classical and electric guitars; pandeiro; tambourine; vocals; whistles; synthesizers; etc. make this a very interesting work of timbres and sonorities.
