Lydia Botana (Bolboreta) is a musician and educationalist with an adventurous spirit who has been flying around the world like a butterfly, sharing the music she composes and sings in several languages across all continents, mixing and learning different cultures that she transmits in the different shows she produces for all kinds of audiences. She has been part of different rock, pop, reggae, ska and punk bands, as well as percussion ensembles, symphonic bands and choir conductors. She produces different artistic proposals for children, sharing musical educational tools for families and teachers, highlighting “De aquí para allá” (From here to there), a didactic project for kids that starts from the field of music education as the central theme of contents that also cover other educational areas and includes an audiovisual series, a CD-book and videoclips with karaokes and choreographies.Committed to sharing and promoting the use of the language of her motherland, Galician, she performs shows such as “A feira das linguas” and different storytelling with music. She has also created musical theatre shows such as “Mundo Mamemo” in its Spanish and French versions.Blessed with a great sense of communication and empathy with children, her magic and stage presence allows her to capture the hearts of those who wish to enter the magical world of tales and music.
