Battosai

Battosai are three millennials who had wanted to belong to Generation X. This power-trio from Santiago de Compostela is formed by Héctor (vocals, guitar), Roque (bass) and Nolo (drums).

The band was born in 2018, inspired by their shared tastes for the rock of the 90s and 00s, such as grunge, punk, emo and alternative rock.

In February of the following year, they released their first single "Cuánto Tiempo", recorded and mixed by Iago Pico at Pouland Studios in Ames; an energetic song with which they try to capture the balance between a wall of guitars and melodies with nostalgic airs.

In April 2020 they released their second single, "12:21"; recorded in their rehearsal room, a song self-produced by the band, seeking to recover the DIY essence and a direct and forceful sound.

After winning the Xuventude Crea 2020 contest, they signed with Spinda Records, an independent label that will release their first album on 1 October 2021. The work was recorded at Ultramarinos Costa Brava studios by Santi García, one of the most prestigious producers of the underground scene of the Peninsula.
