Sertucha

Sheltered behind his surname, the Galician musician born in A Coruña and settled for years in Extremadura proves, at his own risk, that music knows no borders and releases "Cuando suba el río" (Milanamúsica Records, 2021), which continues the path left by his two previous works with the band Milana: "Campo y piedras" (2014) and "Desierto Cicatriz" (2018).

In December 2021, Sertucha released his second album, "Horizonte" (Milanamúsica Records, 2021), a work based on Kepa Arbizu's poetry book of the same name, which brings the Basque writer's concerns in the form of poetry to his soundscape.

Sertucha does not mix up poetic aroma with overacting or excessive decoration; on the contrary, the talent and zeal that are perceived in his words contribute to the development of stories and characters that may seem apparently simple, but that, nevertheless harbour complex and penetrating reflections and feelings.
