Heredeiros da Crus first started in Castiñeiras, in Ribeira (A Coruña) in 1992. After a first few pracices in Poi's chicken shed they released their first disc ‘A Cuadrilla de Pepa a Loba’, a record which changed the history of Galician rock. The cheeky and fun lyrics, the powerful guitars, the natural speech (with the local accent), and their irreverent and provocative attitude all combined to make the Heredeiros a symbol with which thousands of Galicians, hungry for music and culture in the 90's, could identify themselves.Having become one of the favourite groups of Xabarín Club (mythical chidren's programme on Galician TV), and performed dozens of concerts (always memorable and often contoversial), in 1996 they published their second disc: "¡Está que te cajas!!".In 1997 they published two more works, "Criatura" and "Des minutos". Quickly followed by "Erecsiones munisipales" (1999), which introduced new instruments and timbres such as the brass section on various tracks, and "All right Chicago" (2000), a double cd on which you can witness the power of the band on stage. In the next four years, apart from their other projects, they released a disc of cover versions called 'Recambios Tucho' (2001), and their 7th disc, "Chicarrón".In they 2005 they retired from the stage and each of the members began their solo careers. In 2012 the made a full comeback and, apart from continuing to play all over Galicia, have published a new record "Jard Rock con Fe" (2013), with 12 new songs.
