César de Centi

Musician, singer and songwriter from A Coruña with twenty years on stage and a regular on the Galician and national songwriting scene. He has performed at prestigious festivals (Noroeste Estrella Galicia, SantiAutor, BarnaSants, Vai de Camiño) and on the national songwriter circuit (Libertad 8, Galileo Galilei, La Fídula).

In 2008, he recorded his first album, “Principios y declaraciones” with José Luis Paz; “La luz de los Gigantes” is his second work, released in 2013. In addition to his solo work, he was part of CINCOPAREDES, along with Felix Arias, Luis Moro, Silvia Penide and Nando Deibe with whom he published an album, besides being the half of “A viaxe da voz que non era valente”, a project for kids with Silvia Penide. César was also a founding partner of FViernes de Cantauta with whom he released two albums and a DVD.

His last work, “Bailando el fuego”, was launched with band and guests at the Colón Theatre in A Coruña, coinciding with his twenty-year career anniversary, and at the Fábrica de Oleiros. Besides these concerts, he also toured around different places through our country.

“Bailando el fuego” was recorded at A Palleira Estudios (O Incio) and produced by Vizcaíno; the album includes collaborations from Vizcaíno himself or Fito Mansilla.

This work is nourished by the classic tradition of songwriting, absorbing various styles and contemporary influences to create a work full of beauty and uniqueness.
