SonRías Baixas

SonRías Baixas

SonRías Baixas is a festival “from festival-goers to festival-goers” Of course the music is the protagonist and that is the main reason why the festival offers a curated and original line-up that combines both acclaimed national and international artists and newcomers who, according to the organization, have the ability to improve.

But SonRías is more than a music festival, it’s an experience that combines music, beach, leisure and gastronomy in a comfortable and accesible enviroment. The SonRías Experience is defined by an ecosystem that merges an urban and natural area with a schedule that includes all musical, gastronomic and audiovisual approaches, all perfectly combined to make a unique experience for all the festival-goers.

The festival was created by people who love music, but also for those who feel the same about food, from teh kitchen to the table; tThat’s why they combined both passions and came up with Casa SonRías. To the choice of artists offered and making good use of the wide traditional cuisine and the excelence from the local seaport, you need to add a gastronomic spot full of exceptional chefs: rockstars from the line-up who cook their favorite dishes to their public. These RockChefs include Juankar from Boikot, Quique Otero from Banda Crebinsky, Juaki from Dakidarría or Tonhito de Poi from Heredeiros da Crus. Casa SonRías will be open to the general public, so people can live this unique experience where RockChef’s cheap and limited meals are served as tapas.

Since the XIV edition, SonRías Baixas also includes other interests, such as the audiovisual, thanks to a collaboration with FICBUEU; as a result, they offer several showings from the film festival.

The festival premises are located near the beach and they are equipped with camping area, showers and toilets, food court and phone-charging area.
