The Festival Internacional de Creación Musical Contemporánea Vertixe Sonora offers a comprehensive and unprejudiced overview of the international sound creation. A programme proposal reflecting the different sound events of our time that contributes to the international recognition of our community, besides building a solid and prestigious artistic identity for the area.

Its programme of concerts and activites are arranged in different sections such as:

In 2016, the Festival Internacional de Creación Musical Contemporánea Vertixe Sonora expands to Pontevedra after holding its first three editions exclusively in Vigo. In this fourth edition, the two cities are committed to the contemporary music and their spaces, from chapels to theaters, will be explored in all formats by high-quality sounds from October to December. The festival counts on reference composers and artists, as a result of the hard networking which the group develops during the year within the international scene.
