David Quinzán was born in Lugo in 1981 and currently resides in Madrid.As a bassist, he has performed and recorded with artists such as Xoel Lopez, Álex Ferreira, Stereotipos or Richter and in 2012 began his solo career releasing two consecutive EP: "Cetáceos" and "El Aullador". His influences are Paul Simon, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Silvio Rodríguez. He released his first LP, "El vino de las despedidas" (produced by Xoel López), in September 2013. This album was a step forward in his role as a composer, performing at numerous stages of Spain.Another album sees the light in 2014, "El maestro de teatro". This work, produced and arranged by Joserra Senperena, delves into the most classic and precious orchestrated pop, one of his main influences.“Caballito Negro" comes in 2016; an album totally self-managed and self-produced and includes the help of Adrián Seijas (Misterioso Viaje a Holanda, Pablo Seijas, Wolrus) with the musical arrangements in some tracks. This LP opens a brand-new stage marked by songs less thoughtful and new rhythms.In 2018, Quinzán releases "Melancolía Jackson" (2018), EP of five new songs.
