The Nigranjazz Festival was founded in 2007 with vocation to accommodate the wonderful jazz musicians Galician emerging in recent years. Located in a beautiful environment that lends itself to easy to enjoy music.

In these years we had Galician artists as Sumrrá, Virxilio Dasilva, Xan Campos Trio, Sextet Iago Fernandez, Yago Vázquez, Marcos Pin .... Moreover, in recent years the festival managed to attract national and international stars such as Jorge Rossy, Peter Bernstein, Joe Martin, Bill McHenry Gilad Hekselman, Nuno Ferreira .... This festival is also intended as a platform for the new values ​​of Galicia, so these internationally important musicians often share the stage with local musicians, make lectures, participate in Jam Session ...

In addition, the Festival features a poster competition dedicated to Quin Alborés, designer and organizer Nigranjazz until his death.
