Nación Quilombo is the result of more than 20 years of García Mc’s music career, indisputable hip-hop reference in Galicia. He was part of recognised initiatives in Spain such as Dios Ke Te Crew, where he actively participated until 2016. He was also part of Labregos do Tempo dos Sputniks and Ghamberros.

He rapped poems by Celso Emilio Ferreiro, besides being a collaborator in Banda Xangai and working as an independent teacher for more than 15 years teaching workshops and rap courses to raise awareness and values among adolescents.

He now surprises with an innovative show at the head of the Nación Quilombo, a band that combines world music rhythms focusing on the word.

García Mc starts 2022 inviting us to a trip to “Arquipélago Quilombo”, his second record as a solo artist. The rapper re-invent himself to bring us a stimulating crossing across the ten islands of his archipelago through ten songs where there are featuring artists such as Nastasia Zürcher, Cynthia Montaño, High Paw, Digo, Diego, Gatopersa, Javier Vicalo, etc.
