Mano de Piedra is born at the end of 2016 by musicians from renowned Galician bands (Supa Scoopa, Sem Resposta, N.O.T., Carcomedhi), coming together in an amalgam of the most diverse influences: stoner, hardcore, metal, hardrock or crust.Composed by Nano Galez (vocals, guitar), David Durán (lead vocals, drums), Fran Álvarez (bass, backing vocals) and Mano García (guitar, backing vocals), their sound could be defined as crude, heavy, direct and distorted.On December 2017, they self-publish their first album; a digital EP working as a cover letter made of 4 self-produced songs, mixed and mastered by the bassist Fran Álvarez.The band's live shows stand out for their intensity from beginning to end, backed by the background of musicians with more than 20 years on stage tall over the Iberian peninsula.Their first LP is "Today's Ashes" (2019), work consisting of 8 songs where Mano de Piedra talk about the decline of the human species and their journey from light to shadow and the end of their existence. The album has been produced, recorded and mixed by Iago Lorenzo (Awooga, Amplifier, Voltaica, Supa Scoopa, Agoraphobia, Presumido, Furious Monkey House). The mastering is carried out by the sound engineer Robin Schmidt (Black Keys, Placebo, The 1975, Don Broco, Biffy Clyro, Beatsteaks) of 24-96 Mastering.
