Scarecröw

Scarecröw is a Galician heavy rock band founded in 2022 by members from bands such as Hongo, Enkord, and Innerself, among others. They are Carlos Barreiro (vocals), Roberto Pazos (drums), Luis Miguel Diz, José Ramón Diz, Ernesto Montero (guitars), and Diego Freire (bass).

They have a self-released album from June 2022, “Twenty Years Ago”, and two EPs. “Vol. I”, released in December 2024, was mixed and mastered by Carlos Arcay at Arcay Mixing & Mastering, and “Vol. II” was released on 17 July 2025.

In September 2025, they began recording their first official music video with Exeria Producciones, and that same month they will begin their first Galicia and Northern Spain tour.

Noteworthy achievements include winning first place in the Battle of the Bands at the Flores Rock festival at the Coliseum in A Coruña in August 2024, and being part of the Flores Rock Festival in July of the same year, sharing the bill and stage with bands such as Koma, Vantroi, Banda Bassotti and Sínkope. They also won first place at the Cuac FM competition, taking the top prize among more than 120 bands.

Also noteworthy are the commercials, reviews and publications by Mariskal Rock, among others, during these months and the inclusion in the ‘20 Más Duros’ of March. Also noteworthy is the radio broadcast in different countries such as Hoex Radio in the Netherlands, LimaWildRock in Peru and Washington, Jason Cenador's Hora Argonauta in Madrid, interviews on TVG and in different Latin American media.
