Kanfurneira

Kanfurneira is the artistic project of a singer, songwriter and producer from Betanzos, Galicia, influenced by a wide range of musical styles, from soul and hip hop to ballads, pop and Latin-rooted music. Her work is driven by the search for a unique artistic identity through experimentation, emotion and a genuine connection with audiences.

After studying Performing Arts and Music in A Coruña, she began her professional journey through various musical projects in Galicia before moving to Ireland and Malta. These experiences deeply shaped her artistic vision and encouraged her to further develop her songwriting. During this period, she performed in different venues and international music communities, presenting repertoire in Galician, Spanish, English and French accompanied by her guitar.

Committed to original songwriting and self-production, she released her first works as an independent artist in 2021, including "Érguete". Among her notable projects is a version of “A Vitoria”, recorded in collaboration with Álex Charlón, former lead singer of Ataque Escampe, and Fununcan.

Currently based in France, she continues to develop her artistic career through songwriting, music production, live performances and collaborations with artists from different countries, while maintaining a strong connection to her Galician roots.
