Diariodeverano

Diariodeverano makes its bets on alternative pos music since its beginning in 2013 as Iago Gordillo’s personal project, A Coruña native who, after spending several years playing saxophone at the CMUS A Coruña, he starts recording his debut album at Drum&Roll Studios, “El extraodinario hombre estacionario” (2015), consisting of six songs that features the work of Iago Blanco and David Ferreiro. “EEHE” is released after a successful crowdfunding campaign in January 2015.

They made their debut before a crowd at Sala Mardi Gras (A Coruña) in march 2015; they tour through more A Coruña venues until they win the Xuventude Crea, song contest held by Xunta de Galicia, at Sala Sónar (Santiago de Compostela).

In February 2016 they released, in digital format, three more songs included in the album "O.L.A." (2016) and, in May, they premiered their first video clip, "Todo va a ir bien", selected at Festival de Cans and Primavera do Cine. They also went performed at Festival Noroeste Estrella Galicia, Atardecer no Gaiás and Festival de la Luz.

In January of 2019 they release their first LP, "Largo verano de sol azul" (2019), an ambitious pop album that features the work of Javier Cedrón, Silvia Penide and MJ Pérez. In their latest record, Diariodeverano’s music navigates between different moods within the pop music, with lyrics that range from social photography to introspection and self-discovery.
