Pantis

Pantis is Rubén Domínguez’s personal project, O Grove native, audiovisual producer and Prenom’s codirector. First as a draft, then as a shifting reality, Pantis begins to take shape in Lisbon, in 2012, but it’s not until the summer of 2014, back in Galicia, when Rubén Domínguez takes the plunge and moves his tracks from the computer to the stage.

After almost two years touring and polishing his work at live shows, Rubén Domínguez enters Ibán Pérez’s Estudio Terraforma to record his first album in September 2015. Produced and performed almost entirely by himself, drums were recorded by Cibrán Tenreiro (Mounstro, Esposa), “Pranto” (Prenom, 2016) is released on February 2016. Composed by seven songs that work as a circular story; through all the songs, “Pranto” covers closed and tiny spaces where past memories, time erosion, love and vital and personal losses create a mosaic of no-places where Pantis immerses in along with lines full of strong images, oneiric descriptions and inner lanscapes.

In February 2018, he published the single "Mar", accompanied by a videoclip made by the creator himself, which anticipates his second album, titled "Carme", which will be released in autumn, edited by the Prenom label.
