Laroá were born in early 2016 inspired by the fusion of world traditional music, jazz, and Spanish and Portuguese traditional rhythms.The music of the Lusophone world mixed with the roots revival scene are the starting point in the band’s exploration, taking us through a universe of new musical perspectives, a journey through landscapes where sounds from different places shine and blend.The melting pot of this world-music band is full of flavours and colour, they deliver free and independent sounds reinterpreting the traditional styles; space and time flow together to produce a blend of music full of nuances and textures. The band’s atmospheric sounds flow through the full spectrum of these musicians and their instruments, picking up strokes from the Mediterranean, Latin, Jazz and traditional palettes.
