Valentín Caamaño Tubío is a guitarist, vocalist and composer born in Santiago de Compostela. He started playing the guitar in his childhood in Oviedo, but his musical career begins already living in Santiago.He completed his studies in Jazz and Modern Music at Estudio Escola de Música (Santiago de Compostela) and has participated in several editions of the Permanent Jazz Seminar of Pontevedra, directed by Paco Charlín, and in different master classes.He currently leads several projects, including Valentín Caamaño Quartet, with Xosé Miguélez (tenor sax), Alfonso Calvo (double bass) and Miguel Cabana (drums).His latest album "All The Gods" (Tiny Moon Records, 2022), the fourth of his career, was released on 27 May 2022 and is probably his most personal work, with melodies as the central axis and always composed with his main musical references in mind.He has performed in almost all the Galician and national geography, playing in festivals such as the Lugo International Festival, Festival Primavera Jazz de Santiago, Festival Más Que Jazz Coruña, Festival Burgojazz, Festival NavalJazz Navalmoral, Festival Noites de Jazz Rianxo, Festival Betanjazz Betanzos, etc.
