Miguel Seoane is a saxophonist and composer born in A Coruña in 1996. From a young age, he showed a deep passion for music, which led him to begin his studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music of A Coruña.He later moved to Amsterdam to specialize in jazz at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where he completed his academic training. Nowadays, Miguel is a prominent figure in Amsterdam's music scene, known for his fresh and distinctive sound on the alto saxophone.He leads the Miguel Seoane Trio, a project that blends the tradition of jazz with contemporary elements by exploring open structures and providing space for spontaneity and virtuosity. The trio released their debut album, “Vol. 1”, on April 4, 2025.In addition to his work with the trio, Miguel has collaborated with various musicians and projects across Europe. He has been invited to perform as a soloist with the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra as part of the New Jazz Talents series, further establishing his reputation as a versatile and creative performer.His music reflects a deep understanding of jazz tradition while incorporating modern influences, resulting in an authentic and captivating style.
