DOGO is a trio from Santiago de Compostela founded in 2023 by Carlos Beiró (guitar, vocals), Xoan Escudero (bass, vocals) and Ángel Refojo (drums). Their sound combines elements of shoegaze, post-punk and indie, creating dense atmospheres and enveloping melodies sung in Galician.They have just recorded their first EP, ‘Brutalismo’, at Mans Studios in A Coruña after winning the Sonidos Mans Salas contest. This first work presents evocative lyrics, solid instrumentation and dark energy. With this work and a powerful live performance, DOGO seeks to consolidate itself as a relevant proposal within the Galician and Spanish music scene.
