In 2020, Eladio y Los Seres Queridos celebrate 15 years of career, leaving behind 5 albums, touring all over the country in different festivals and venues and always staying true to their particular style that allows them to be, currently, one of the most steady bands in the Spanish music scene. Songs with melodies and choruses of perfect workmanship and lyrics by Eladio Santos that he writes brilliantly updating classic canons with ease and spontaneity with topics ranging from the most classic pop to more indie-rock sounds, through folk to songwriting.Over the years, all this talent has been recognized on various occasions with nominations and awards both at Galician and Spanish level; winners of the Martín Códax da Música Galega Awards to Best Indie/Pop Band in 2013 and 2018 and of the MIN Award for Independent Music 2017 for Best Album in Galician for “Cantares” (2016), among others.In their sixth work, “Academia” (2020), as happened with their two previous albums, “Cantares” (2016) and “Historias de Caza” (2017), Eladio y Los Seres Queridos also turned to self-production. A formula that allows them to keep their own times of composition, production and recording, in addition to being able to collaborate with different musicians and composers who, as in “Historias de Caza”, are once again part of this latest work.
