After several years in several rock and blues based projects, Xián Gómez decides to start releasing the songs he had been writing for years under the pseudonym of Conde Varo. Under his own publishing, he starts to release a series of totally autoproduced songs (from the process of composition to mixing and mastering, and including instrument recording), under the influence of american bands such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, as well as british ones like The Beatles and Oasis.His release schedule includes three singles in 2020 (“Juego de espejos”, “Las damas de noche” and “Chica de ninguna parte”); another six in 2021 (“Fantasmas”, “Niña”, “Mr. Hyde”, “Superpoderes” and “Lucifer”, besides the only one in Galician so far, “Ti es Nadal”) and two additional ones in 2022 (“Inocencia de Febrero” and “Top negro”). After two years releasing singles and building his online presence, he releases his first LP, titled “Proyecto Manhattan”, in April 2022. This album compiles all of the aforementioned songs (with the exception of “Ti es Nadal”), plus a bonus track, titled "Versos".He is currently in the process of producing a brand new EP, which is intended to be released sometime in 2023.
