Malkeda is a Galician band formed at the end of 2002 that cultivates an alternative metal based on the different influences of its components. Serious tunings, half timings, heavy rhythms, strong contrasts between verses and refrains accompanied by a voice that interspersed torn and emotional melodies, lyrics with which the audience will feel identified. His debut album, "Momentos impuntuales", are 13 own songs recorded, mixed and mastered by R. Darosa (Litium Records-Pontevedra). With "Un día sin ayer", second LP in which the band joins the well-known producer from Vigo, Pablo Iglesias (Hora Zulú, Kannon, Killer Barbies) and records at Planta Sónica II (Vigo), consolidates a more personal style, a bet for a blunt and direct sound. They rotate throughout the peninsula between halls and festivals, playing alongside bands such as Obús, Baron Rojo or Aphonnic. In 2015 Malkeda makes a single for EURORSA (European Rescue Swimmers Association), which they baptize with "Nadie queda atrás".Produced by Ángel Acuña Paz and recorded at Planta Sónica II, Villa Angelina Studios and ZoiloUnrealStudios, "Cumulonimbo" mixes nuances from the first work with others from the second, adding riffs of more current styles with a careful basic sound. A more mature, personal and powerful work in which Alberto Cereijo (Los Suaves) or Gómez Noya (Triathlon World Champion) collaborate among others.Malkeda are Checho C. Vázquez (vocals), Guille Lavía (guitar), Isidro Otero (guitar), Adrián Costal (bass), Adrián Charlín (drums).
