Evoéh

Evoéh is a project that observes and reconciles two sources of Galician and Spanish music: Art Music and Popular Music.

The constant interchange between both has given place to an art that has produced a very deep impact on us. Art Music sought perfection and the sublime in what man can come to give; Popular Music possesses a root that sinks into the ground and a strength that makes it go straight to the heart.

In the year 2005 Evoéh was born, as a duet of voice and guitar between Ariana Barrabés and Jesús Olivares, as a result of our admiration for poetry and music. Nowadays, the Evoéh musical group is a sextet. Depending on the situation, we can add percussion or offer a purely instrumental concert.
