Brais Morán has almost 20 years of experience in the music scene, composing and editing songs as a singer and guitarist. In addition to being known as a vocalist and guitarist of the funk band Loretta Martin, the artist takes a step forward to start his solo career presenting himself as Brais Morán and thus releases his first album "Cruzando o eclipse" (2015), recorded at Abrigueiro Estudios where he had Denís Morán, Miguel Queixas and Manu Seoane as an his main band, besides the collaborations of Belém Tajes, Cláudia Morán and NARF, who co-produced the song "Destino".His second work, “No Mato do Desespero” (Seispés, 2018) is a double tribute to the Mozambican poet José Craveirinha and the great musician NARF. His influences are especially evident in this album: NARF, in the way of understanding music and what life suggested to him; the Brazilian world that always accompanied him when addressing Lenine or Toquinho; or the African imprint of admiration for Dobet Gnahoré or Salif Keita. Morán delves into traditional Galician music and folk, with a clear devotion to Berrogüetto, with touches of Irish folk that are made up of several of the original compositions contained in the album. The "banda do desespero" is formed by Fran Sanz (bass), Manu Seoane (guitars) and Marcos Pazo (drums). In “No Mato do desespero” we hear the collaborations of Patri Gamallo (Adufeiras de Salitre, Habelas Hainas), Tanxugueiras and Ugía Pedreira, singing a song of her authorship, “No país das efes”.
