Born in Chantada in 2017, Fábrica de Espejos is a highly emotional synth pop band with some shoegaze and dream pop cadence. Through their sound, we can hear a clear influence of the 80's new wave, from bands like New Order, but also a certain dark synth pop rhythm. After two EPs, "Esferas" (2018) and "Astro Rey" (2019), comes their first full-length, "Mundo Incierto" (Ferror Records/Facela, 2021), recorded by Arturo Vaquero in Abrigueiro (Friol), an importante step forward in their career.Labeled as an ambitious work where they build an emotional mirror that, like a kaleidoscope, reflects images between luminescences of different intensities. Dreamlike atmospheres charged with melancholy and an abandonment of urgency embrace softness without ceasing the intensity, weaving redemptive melodies wrapped in distortion.Heart murmurs withing naked and accurate lyrics play an important role. Lyrics about the passage of time, melancholy, loss: “We try to make the lyrics as much a part of the song as the other elements; being 'more direct', the spoken language seems to have more weight, but for us the vocal part is totally at the service of the song".Fábrica de Espejos are Leticia Iglesias (vocals), Isaac Ferreiro (vocals, guitar), Alex Pacheco (bass), Hum Novoa (guitar) and Ángel Novoa (electronic bases) and, with this brilliant work, they are at the forefront. From La Buena Vida to Linda Guilala, from Los Planetas to Beach House... Fábrica de Espejos follow their own path.
