Jazz de laranxa was born in 2023 from the initiative of a group of musicians based in Galicia with different backgrounds and training in musical styles as diverse as jazz, pop rock, classical music and traditional Galician music.The aim of the band is to build an eclectic repertoire, without geographical or stylistic boundaries, based on chosen themes from popular music, jazz standards and their own songs, from which to achieve an original sound attractive enough to all audiences.The members of Jazz de laranxa are María Silva (vocals, percussion), Lorenzo Boo (guitar); Sarunas Pupelis (clarinet, saxophone) and Pachi Cruz (double bass).
