Allo Negro comes up naturally when the members of Mulberry Blues decided to start composing their own songs in Galician. Their sounds are inspired by the black music of the 40s, 50s and 60s, mainly blues and soul. Their current musical references range from Marta Ren, Monophonics, Michael Kiwanuka to Curtis Harding.Their first single, “Branco Algodón”, alludes to classic references with current social themes. They recorded an EP at Bungalow Studios with Martín Esturao at the end of 2024, which will be released in 2025.
