Guadi Galego

Guadi Galego is one of the most relevant artists on the current Galician scene, the result of a musical career that began when she was very young. In 1997 she joined Berrogüetto as a vocalist, pianist and bagpiper, and recorded three albums with them. Later she experimented with different sounds in groups such as her most intimate and personal project, Espido, or Nordestin@s.

Then, in 2009 Benzón came out, an album acclaimed by the Galician and Spanish critics with which she began her solo career. After the success of Luas de outubro e agosto, O mundo está parado, Bóla de cristal and IMMERSION, in 2020 she launches Costuras.

Costuras brings together 10 songs by Guadi Galego and Carlos Abal that travel from worlds associated with her childhood to the hardest and at the same time hopeful present, where the author shows herself as she is. Three collaborations make up the album: the poets Antía Otero and Marina Oural and the singer Paula Grande. The musical production, by Olivera Estudi, gives a new look to Guadi's creations, entering electronic fields, without forgetting the more organic part, creating unique textures within pop.
