O Cadelo Lunático is a project founded by Javier Prado (Moondogs Blues Party) in 2015, who had just won the EL PAÍS Talent Award and was a semifinalist at the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville, among more than 15,000 international projects.The band was born with their debut album, "Malos Tempos" (Inquedanzas Sonoras, 2015) launched that same year at the Feira das Industrias Culturais, Culturgal. The band's early formation is made up of Belem Tajes (Luar na Lubre, Vudú), Maritxiña (Vudú) and Olalla Ferga (La Senda de Afra). Here, the band wins the XVIII Cuac FM Band Contest and, as a result, they get to play at the Estrella Galicia Northwest Festival along with Ocean Color Scene and The Editors.Nowadays, the project launches with a new repertoire and new members: Javier Prado (Moondogs Blues Party), Pedro de Gregorio (Showbiñas Experience), Jorge Arenaz (Booty Sweat) and Nico Rodríguez (Cora Velasco).O Cadelo Lunático’s philosophy is to show that blues and soul are possible in Galician.
