Magia Bruta

Magia Bruta is the new adventure of Isabel Fernández, Spanish composer and producer with a dozen albums released in Spain, the US and Japan, soundtrack writer and founder of the groups Charades and Aries.

After teaming up with talented multi-instrumentalist María Romero to bring the songs to life live, together they generate an exciting expansive wave of harmonies and instrumental experimentation.

The album is called “Un día nuevo” and it is mixed by Jose Vázquez and Pablo Martín (Banana Bahía Music, Sweat Taste) and mastered by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, Damon & Naomi). There is no place in it for clichés, formulas and mental prisons; here, you will only find overflowing and free hymns about alienation, love, truth and beauty.

From its tranquil refuge in the Atlantic wilderness of Vigo, but sheltered by a vibrant arts scene, it took “Un día nuevo” two and a half years to come up with the right sound design. A unique production that makes the difficult pass for easy. Far from muddying the waters to make them seem deep, Magia Bruta's first album is a celebration of the joy and sorrow that looks straight into the eyes.

Each day that begins is a new opportunity where Isa and María build their own way of being and doing.
