Manuel Seixas was a member of Korosi Dansas, a band that represented the most vindictive and at the same time the most experimental side of the bravú movement. They were a very unconventional group, deeply aware of the social problems of their immediate surroundings, Vilargarcía de Arousa (Pontevedra). On a musical level we have to talk about a fusion of styles ranging from ska and rock to harder and more distorted rhythms. After ending the band, with the release of "Non!" (Chorima, 1997), Manuel Seixas - in addition to being a musician, writer and poet - began his solo career with the albums "A velocidade do frío" (Xerais, 1997) and "Presentimento" (Madame Mir, 2000).After forming the Neuroband project, with which he released several long-playing records, he once again released an album under his own name. It is "O estraño karaoke do Home Bata" (Ferror Records, 2022), a double album with the subtitle "a secular rosary in two mysteries", which he defines as: "the Home Bata is a weirdo who wants to settle accounts with what he was, with what he is and with what he might become. And to keep on walking, walking".
