PEITOESCURO is the name that embodies the essence of Rubén, a sound craftsman who has been living in a small village in the foothills of the Serra do Courel since 2016.The project, wild in its entire artistic concept, expresses the song of birds among the ruins of a wounded countryside. Popular songs with a poetic touch, whose melodies connect the maps of the past, combining flamenco styles with tribal rhythms, and drawing people around the fire to feel the beating heart of Iberian folklore today.His genuine compositions come down from the mountains to be sung in a bold and vibrant way, accompanied by his worn guitar, the power of the drum skin and the electronic beat.His performaance is both a celebration of impurities and a breath of fresh air into the embers of a present that needs to remember in order to flourish.
