Zënzar, the dean of the rock bands that sing in the Galician language, was formed in Meirama (Cerceda) in the winter of 1987 and they have been working together since then, celebrating their 25th year on the stage in 2013.They make powerful music with a good live performance, a product of years of experience. They have a wide repertoire, a result of their six published albums, and in recent times they have opened up to other rhythms and collaborations (bagpipes, percussion, accordion), unthinkable in the first years of the band. Hence, in recent years they have been more and more successful in festivals, with a much bigger audience, so Zënzar has become a safe bet in any festival.
