Vox Stellae is a vocal group founded in 2002. One of its hallmarks-besides their Renaissance and Baroque repertoire- is the dissemination of Galician music, both the one included in the files of cathedrals as well as the contemporary compositions and popular music, this being possible thanks to the versatility and wide vocal and instrumental training of its members.In addition to offering regular concerts throughout Galicia, they have participated in institutional events and performed educational programs for over 2000 students. They have also played in festivals such as: "Via Stellae", "Terra da Fraternidade", "Espazos Sonoros", "International Week of Music of La Laguna", "International Music Festival "Province of Palencia"", "International Music Festival of Castilla and Leon "," Outono dos sentidos" in the Ribeira Sacra ... and during the concert seasons of the Philharmonic Societies of Monforte, Ferrol and Vigo.Vox Stellae collaborates with different groups and soloists such as the Chamber Orchestra of Tenerife, Galician Chamber Orchestra, Os Menestreis de 1500, Finis Terrae Brass, Cristina Pato, Joaquin Barreira, Manuel Vilas, Mercedes Hernández, Fernando Buide, Uxía Senlle, Joao Afonso and the playwriter, Maximino Queizán. In 2013 they released their first album, "Defensor alme Hispaniae", with recovered music of the choirmaster at the cathedral of Tui, Matías García Benayas (+1737).
