ELØ

ELØ is the poetic and musical union between the author Rosalía Fernández Rial and the musician Serxio Moreira. Both have worked together in various different projects which have taken Rosalia's poetry accompanied by Serxio's music to the stage. This year (2015) they have recorded their two latest works: "Vinte en escena" ("Twenty on Stage") and "Ningún amante sabe conducir" ("No Lover Knows How to Drive"), the titles of the last two books by the author, published by Edicións Positivas. In this sonic dimension the author/actress performs an interpretative reading of her verses whilst the music moves in contemporary and experimental terrains.

ELØ, the project, was born on stage and the idea is to return to this stage with a reformed vision after publishing the first CD. Even though the fundamental contemporary and minimalist principles of this interdisciplinary artistic conception are maintained, the experimentation with literary, scenic and musical dialogue has flown into a more fluid proposition, experimental and with new forms of communication, all in a simple, fresh and spontaneous format.

In the spring of 2017, ELO released their new work, “Sacar a bailar”, where the voice becomes more melodic and harmonic, and the tunes more electronic and diverse than in their previous work:
