Pablo Vidal

Double-bass player, composer and producer. Pablo Vidal has participated in groups of different musical scenes, from rock to jazz to children's music, along with his work in music production.

In 2014, he creates Pablo Vidal Trío together with Gabriel Peso (piano) and Noli Torres (drums). The group's music reflects the compositional eclecticism of Pablo Vidal mixed with the good energy and know-how of his peers, fusing jazz with traditional sounds, symphonic rock, world music or Latin jazz creating a characteristic and recognizable sound; authentic Galician contemporary jazz.

They have recorded two albums:

- "Jazz pagano" (aldeaglobal, 2015): an imaginary tour of the Atlantic through eight tracks that follow a main theme reference, the sea, with Uxía as a guest artist in "O canto" and "Alalá das sereas".

- "Orixe" (2018) with Pablo Vidal Group: the Earth as a source of inspiration; a wwelcoming and feminine Mother Earth, the origin of all of us. With Pablo Vidal (double bass, compositions), Gabriel Peso (piano), Noli Torres (drums), Narci Rodríguez (voice), Sarunas Pupelis (sax) and Toni Risco (vibraphone).

As a producer, some noticeable work are "Nowhere" (2017) by Clara Pino & Pablo Vidal; "Chapeu" (2016) by Tatán R.; "Sons de Cine" (2012) by A Doce Vita; "Pitusa Semifusa e os estilos musicais" (Ed. Galaxia, 2017) by Olga Brañas (2017) and "Proxecto Sapoconcho", still unpublished.
