ROBERTOLIVEIRA

Percussionist specialized in the commissioning and premiere of works, specifically for percussion, electronic and synchronized visual art (electroacoustic music) of new national and international composers, with a staging that becomes a multi-sensory experience.

Robertoliveira completes his bachelor’s degree in percussion at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague (Netherlands). He continued his studies with a Master in Music Performance-Chamber Music at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin (Ireland), earning the First Class Honors distinction at the DCU Dublin City University.

He performs concerts as a soloist, but also with contemporary ensembles and symphony orchestras along with outstanding artists, directors and current composers in concert halls and festivals in countries such as Portugal, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Hungary, Italy, Cyprus, Austria, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, the Philippines, Taiwan, China or Latvia.

Finalist of the IV Martín Códax de la Música Awards, Robertoliveira is considered one of the most creative, daring and innovative artists in the contemporary music scene.
