Claudia Abril (vocals and percussion) and Marina Carpente (violin and vocals) are part of this project in which traditional Galician and Iberian melodies are adapted into contemporary soundscapes with intimacy, personality, and freshness. Abril is a contemporary folk project where traditional music instruments such as the tambourine, frame drum, and folk violin shape a carefully crafted repertoire that helps highlight the value of Galician traditional music while embracing modernity. Abril is renewed tradition; roots music in harmony with the present. A folkloric microcosm where identities converge and create community.
