The Galician music group Fiandola was born in the city of Compostela in the year 1996. More than twenty-three years have gone by working for the Galician culture in the field of traditional music. The musical work developed by this traditional court band is part of the music of oral tradition thanks to the fieldwork that its members have been doing for years throughout the villages of Galicia. Fiandola brings a new harmonic and timbre vision and creates a very special repertoire with its own stamp with a clear orientation towards the dance world. Fiandola's live performances are specially designed for dance, where we can enjoy a wide rhythmic range; from the mill to the mazurca or from the handling to the rumba ... In 1996 they win the prize of the Ministry of Family, Women and Youth and in 2013 the prize for the best group or soloist of Moaña. In all these years they have traveled most of the great festivals of Galicia, but also many small rooms, festivals, and parties; to which we must add performances in Cantabria and Navarra.Fiandola is made up of renowned musicians in the world of traditional Galician music: Anaïs Barbier (vocals, percussions) Lucía Eiros (clarinet, bagpipe), Alberto “Warren” Barreiro (accordion, vocals), Fran López (flute, soprano saxophone, bagpipe, vocals), Santiago Budiño (bagpipes, vocals), Manolo Cobas (percussion, vocals), Tasty Kinhos (percussions).
