Os d'Abaixo is made up by musicians from two leading Galician folk bands, Berrogüetto and Fía na Roca, among others.Their first album was recorded live at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, without expecting too much, as the band actually was, born only with the purpose of entertaining the folk dances of their hometown. But the acceptance was such that they began to turn around festivals and gatherings both in Galicia and abroad. In May 2017, they released "Quixera ser dos paxaros", their second album and first one recorded in studio, composed of almost-all unreleased tracks coming from a brilliant research work, to which the band is also dedicated. A more intimate album where aesthetics have a lot of weight, both in the careful selection of lyrics and in graphic design and photography. On the album, each of the themes is followed by a detailed description that helps to understand the research work of the repertoire. In the last year, they played in some of the most important folk festivals, such as Festival Internacional del Mundo Celta de Ortigueira, Brosella Folk & Jazz (Belgium), Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, FIMPT of Vilanova i la Geltrú or Arredas Folk Fest (Portugal), among many others. In 2019, they present a new accordionist, Santi Cribeiro (Berrogüetto), and a new repertoire for their summer tour.
