Linho do cuco is a band from Lalín that makes blunt music. Tribal Galician music mixed with the sound of a European Orquestina. Bass-drum, drum, tambourines, bagpipes, accordion, hurdy-gurdy, oboe, flute... and eight gorgeous young men full of energy and class on the stage. Eight professional musicians who offer a concert to listen and dance to.Linho do cuco’s new album is inspired in the Galician hinterland and that's the reason why it's named like the animal entrails: As Alegrías. It’s an album colored with the cold thin air of Galician hinterland mountains, that wild horses whistle with their gallop. But it is also an album that changes the inner cold into its repertoire: the repertoire of the taverns, bands, verbenas, hinterland orchestras. By/From Os Padernes do Caurel, by Quinteto Monterrei, by Banda de Veteranos de Lalín, by Republicana de Bermés... Linho do cuco doesn't do vintage reviews. From the tradition, Linho do cuco offers a current popular music for the day and evening sessions, so we can enjoy the party from morning to night.Linho do cuco are: Pablo Bernárdez (hurdy-gurdy), Xián Herrera (bagpipe, cymbals, toy piano), Pablo Doval (tuba), Miguel Touriño (bass drum), Pablo Pardo (flutes), Marcos Pérez (percussion), Carlos Quintá (melodeon) and Benjamín Otero (oboe and cor anglais).
